Position Summary:
The Sales Strategy Manager develops and executes sales strategies that drive revenue growth for Pax8, our partners, and vendors. They define and deliver sales strategies and sales plays that accelerate revenue growth. The Manager works with their team, other sales leaders, marketing, and data and analytics to identify growth opportunities and then build sales and partner content that connects solutions with opportunity. They work with sales operations and the technology teams to develop and refine the tools and systems to improve sales and partner productivity. The Manager also works closely with sales, marketing, and channel leadership to define business goals and craft sales plays and GTM models to achieve them. They engage with our global sales teams to listen, learn, train, and adapt our strategies for joint success.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and build sales plays, programs, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and improve sales efficiency
- Lead their team to build connected sales and marketing motions
- Define key sales support mechanisms and processes to meet the needs of our rapid growth and achieve sales goals and market objectives
- Engage leadership to review sales strategies and programs, drive decisions, and share results and findings
- Partner with analytics and sales operations to define and measure sales play performance
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
- At least five (5) years in sales or marketing roles, in which you defined and executed GTM initiatives
- At least two (2) years of management experience, in relevant disciplines - sales, marketing, consulting, or sales excellence disciplines
- An understanding of the marketing-sales funnel and the MarTech stack (e.g., Marketo, Drift, WalkMe, SalesForce, Outreach)
- Demonstrated capabilities in defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, programs, and policies
- Excellent collaboration skills, and demonstrated ability to lead matrixed teams, and effective persuasive and player/coach capabilities
- Ability to provide meaningful insights from complex data and translate insights into actionable plans, proposals, and presentations
- Strong, persuasive verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented, with a strong internal compass to maintain pace in ambiguous environments
- Knowledgeable about technology partner ecosystem, channels, and programs
- Program and/or project management capabilities
Required Education & Certifications:
- B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
- Project management certification a plus

Compensation:
- Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $120,000 or more depending on experience
