SUMMARY PayPal is looking for a skilled crypto strategist to help shape the next phase of BCDC’s growth. You are passionate about the innovation potential of blockchain technology and can translate a vision into clear recommendations for strategies, programs and initiatives that will generate enduring impact on PayPal’s two-sided network of merchants and consumers. You’re not shy of thinking outside of the box and are eager to look for innovation and efficiencies in commerce and payments. You will closely collaborate with high performers and knowledgeable colleagues from the BCDC team and strengthen your network in the crypto ecosystem. Job Description: KEY RESPONSABILITIES In this role, you will conduct market research, identify global opportunities and partners, delineate growth strategies and programs with their corresponding business cases and recommended execution plans. Leverage internal data and outside research to develop insights that will optimize existing avenues for growth and create new ones. Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams, facilitating collaboration with product, marketing, communications, strategy, analytics, and other areas. Prepare executive presentations and gain leadership buy-in to proposed recommendations. IDEAL EXPERIENCE Ability to work in an ambiguous and cross functional environment with proven track record of delivering projects. Great influencer - make positive and strong personal impressions on others to affect the development of the business by influencing or negotiating. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced environments Previous experience in marketing, strategy, business development and/or sales in crypto/web3 is a big plus. Understanding of channels and tactics to reach crypto audiences. Can put together a robust strategy with clear roadmap of programs and initiatives. Familiarity with digital currencies, blockchain, Web3, their components and players. You are proactive, results-oriented, and excel as an individual contributor. Bias for action and progress, brings problem-solving approach to team discussions. Superior writing, verbal and presentation skills. Must currently be pursuing an MBA from an accredited college or university. Must be returning to school in the Fall of 2023. Must reside in the U.S. during the Summer internship program.
