Job Description Summary: PayPal, Inc. seeks MTS 2, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA Job Duties: Design and develop software applications, including engineering specifications and high-level architecture design flows. Create high quality API specifications. Design and implement performance and monitoring metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and resolve product gaps. Identify and resolve customer issues by building instrumentation dashboards and developing new features. Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical issues. Mentor junior engineers. Telecommuting permitted – work may be performed from anywhere in the US. Job Description: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
