Implement, maintain, and support information systems to meet the business needs of our organization and scale as we grow. Team members in this position will work with technically complex areas of the system and serve as a consultant and subject matter expert to the business. Systems Analysts support and may assist in leading projects related to system changes, document business requirements, configure the system, test, and communicate with impacted users via trainings or other communications. Works with Senior Analysts to help implement technological solutions with the goal of improving operational performance or efficiency.

The Role:

  • Provides end user support to users of HR & Payroll System.
  • Utilizes a time/resolution tracking system to document support time and resolution of issues.
  • Understand end user needs and experiences by serving as a consultant and subject matter expert. Configure systems and design processes to meet those needs
  • Analyze themes in tickets to determine if a major change to the system is needed or if communication or training materials need to be changed.
  • Responds to urgent and/or complex tickets, utilizing deep system knowledge to solve problems.
  • Responsible for configuring technically complex system changes, keeping in mind end user experience and usability, scalability, and ease of maintenance.
  • Understand and provide best practices to the end users to ensure efficient use of the systems.
  • Assists with updating and maintaining HR & Payroll System manuals and end user documentation used for training.
  • Prepares program specifications and participates in the design, development and testing of the systems.
  • Assists with integrating data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
  • Coordinates installation of new functionality added to system with end users.
  • Tests system configuration to validate functionality, identify possible areas for improvement.
  • Works with vendors to resolve issues
  • Participates in projects and may lead smaller projects. Gather and document business requirements, provide input in to timelines and tasks, and update training and documentation as needed.
  • Interprets data, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Assists with implementation of communities onto the HR & Payroll System.
  • Reviews and validates design documents, working with users to resolve questions.
  • Works closely with the HR & Payroll System support team to resolve issues and recommend enhancements.
  • Stay informed of system enhancements and product changes from vendors. Assess changes for impact, applicability, and benefits they will provide to end users.

 

Experience:

  • BS or BA degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • 2-4 years related experience.
  • Experience with HCM Cloud or payroll processing preferred.

 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Knowledge of HCM Cloud or similar HRIS platform preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL preferred
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll processing
  • Strong problem solving ability with focus on quality and urgency
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Provides technical expertise, leadership and project coordination to support the system
  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment in making routine decisions
  • Thorough and detail-oriented
  • Performs work under minimal supervision
  • Handles complex issues and only refers the most complex problems to higher-level staff
  • Communicate with and promptly assist multiple levels ranging from senior leadership to support staff
  • Responsible for demonstrating appropriate, clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications in all interactions
  • Take ownership of a project and have the ability to distribute tasks to team members and meet milestone completion

Estimated Salary Range: $67,000 - $76,000

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
