We are looking for an Event Specialist who will be responsible for assisting in the coordination and organization of selected tradeshows and company events while providing administrative support the Events team. This role is based in Jacksonville and offers a hybrid work environment where you will have three in office days and two remote working days during the work week.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with key stakeholders and Merchants on Paysafe’s tradeshows.
• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders for each event or tradeshow.
• Collaborate with Events Team to assist with hospitality events, internal events and sponsorships.
• Research and purchase appropriate promotional merchandise for events, maintain inventory levels with Paysafe’s online store.
• Work with creative team; share our brand story in a professional and meaningful manner.
• Resolve any problems or issues that might occur pre or during an event.
• Provide suggestions and ideas to enhance the success of events.
• Analyze and evaluate events feedback and post-event survey results to ensure future successful events.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to achieve the most favorable terms for event costs.
• Meet event timelines, budgetary parameters and deadlines.
• Keep updated on industry and competitive trends and regularly inform Events Team of opportunities to improve event strategies.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field of study (Business, Marketing, Hospitality or Events) or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree, required.
• 2 years of similar event or hospitality experience, required.
• Ability to plan and execute an event from start to finish, efficiently and achieving the objective of the event.
• Excellent organizational skills, able to multitask, manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
• Problem solving skills, pivot quickly and be flexible with event plans
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, rapidly adapting to change and shifting priorities
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive, can-do attitude and team-player
