Title: IT PMO Consultant

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, Track and Monitor the progress of all project activities and report on status, risks, and issues. Recommend adjustment to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Facilitate meetings between PMs that have dependencies on other's projects.
  • Review project schedules with Project managers and project teams.
  • Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication, and provide feedback on projects and programs performance.
  • Perform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning for projects when necessary. Additionally, assist in identifying and recommending mitigation strategies for project schedule risks.
  • Support the day-to tactical operation of the projects (planning, execution of project, and project deliverables).
  • Provide comprehensive status and progress reviews to project and program manager and senior management.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce, and champion the mission, values, and culture of the organization.
  • Provides support for the development of Project Management Guidance and Standards.
  • Provide project management analyst and/or coordinator support.
  • Deliver Project Management SME support, training, and mentoring.
  • Update project schedules using MS Project 2016 Pro and Project Online.
  • Develop executive level reports and dashboards using MS Power BI.
  • Develop reports using MS Project Online, SharePoint, and MS Excel data sets.
  • Develop reports using project schedule data and financial data.
  • Create and maintain refresh schedules for Power BI reports.
  • Provide comprehensive MS Project Online and MS Power BI support, including system administration tasks.

Required Skills/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3-5 years of IT program/project management experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting an IT PMO in a Federal consulting environment.
  • 2 years of experience supporting MS Project Server and/or MS Project Online, including system administration tasks (Preferred).
  • 2 years of developing complex reports and dashboards using MS Power BI (Preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (Preferred).
  • Agile certifications, such as SAFe Agilist or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) (Preferred).
  • Expertise with both agile and waterfall environments.
  • Expertise in using all Microsoft Suite Products (including: SharePoint, Excel, and Power Point).
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
