Your Impact
- Develop and modify Revit models of plumbing and HVAC systems and components according to established standards.
- Review Revit modeling techniques, based on input from the engineering team.
- Coordinate and plan the execution of the design for Revit models and AutoCAD documents for multiple projects.
- Produce equipment schedules, making changes and adjustments as necessary with input from the engineering team as required.
- Uses Revit to check the design for interferences with other building elements, resolves conflicts with other team members.
- Interpret consultant design documents and design the necessary HVAC system.
- Utilize knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of plans, sections diagrams, equipment schedules, and drawings.
- Produce coordinated floor plans, riser diagrams, and isometrics for complex HVAC systems.
- Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering technology degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, including BIM and AutoCAD.
- 4 plus years of work experience with an engineering consulting firm.
- PE or EIT License in California.
- Ability to self-assess and command a high level of accuracy.
- Strong oral, written, and communication skills.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with "DSA" - Division of State Architects.
- Experience working on K-12 Education projects.
