1st and 2nd Shifts
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Maintenance personnel must possess highly experienced skills in maintenance and repair. They are responsible for the day-to-day repair and maintenance of diesel & propane hydraulic forklift equipment. Warehouse maintenance and minor repair including electric, plumbing, air condition, etc. Welding and cutting experience is a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform daily repairs on diesel & propane forklifts.
- Perform daily repairs on warehouse equipment dock levelers, Roll-up Doors, etc.
- Performs preventive maintenance procedures on forklifts including oil changes, inspects, checks fluid levels, replaces filters, grease bearings, seals, etc.
- Procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
- May assist in performing minor and major repairs of all buildings and equipment.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Must Supply own basic hand tools.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Insurability requirement: Must possess a valid driver's license and a 3-year driving history that is acceptable to our auto insurance carrier.
- Hyster, Taylor, and Caterpillar forklift experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to stand; bend; stoop; walk; use hands, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Required to lift up to 50 lbs on an intermittent basis. The employee is frequently required to stand, bend and kneel with alternate sitting. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a warehouse and outdoor environment. Frequently visits a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from 30 to below zero. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
