Responsibilities

• General shop duties
• Assisting assembly personnel
• Maintenance and upkeep of shop and safe work areas
• Perform routine and repetitive activities on equipment and machinery.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and machines such as cleaning, adjusting and lubricating.
• Ensure proper paperwork accompanies all parts you work on
• Identify and separate non-conforming parts, scrap parts, and acceptable parts with notations on paperwork
• Follow production schedule and work in a timely and efficient manner
• Follow all work and safety policies
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality
• Check in parts ensuring all received parts are properly accounted for and organized.
• Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within the Assembly department
• Successfully operate forklift and move pallets of good throughout shop floor

Qualifications

• 2 years experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience using forklift and overhead crane
• Must be a self starter with ability to be trained
• Must have good hand-to-eye dexterity
• Must be physically able to work prolonged hours with heavy material (lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds)
• Must be able to work overtime if required
• Due to safety and routing paperwork that accompanies our products around the shop floor must have a good understanding of the English language and be able to read, write and speak it.

• Computer literate
• High School graduate or G.E-D. Required
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to read a tape measure and labels required.
• Knowledge of the use of micrometers, calipers and gauges preferred
• Valid state driver's license in good standing is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment, proactively contributing ides to improve operation required.
• Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical standards.

This is a warehouse position- Forklift experience a plus

40 hours a week- 7:00 am- 4:00 pm

No weekends, unless needed.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S, pass drug test and background test

We are a small company and work together as an effective team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
