About the Role:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain process within an organization. The supply chain encompasses all the activities and processes involved in the production and delivery of goods or services to customers. The role of a Supply Chain Manager is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective flow of products, information, and finances across the supply chain, areas that overseas such logistics, procurement and inventory management.

 
What You Will Do:


  • Developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining supply chain management strategies that increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations.
  • Handling all correspondence and negotiations with suppliers for materials purchasing.
  • Procurement: Managing the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, components, and finished goods while considering factors such as cost, quality, and lead times,
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
  • Negotiate shipping contracts and best fees for different PCS regions for logistics/goods transportation.
  • Create and sustain KPI for the supply chain area.
  • Manage the flow of goods in and out between different channels and internal PCS warehouse; including, but not limited to all logistics functions, warehousing, distribution, shipping/receiving, order management, and inventory management. Train staff as well as monitor their performance and progress.
  • Allocate resources based on upcoming inbound and outbound activities with a clear focus of delivering world class customer service.
  • Optimize facility utilization to ensure maximum efficiencies and labor effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor import/export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Establish workflow policies and processes that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product quality, safety, or integrity.
  • Communicate with various company personnel at all levels to provide and receive information, resolve questions/issues and coordinate activities.
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees.
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management while working to resolve.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to accomplish organizational goals.


Who You Are:

 

  • 5 years' experience in Supply Chain/ Logistics area
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent people and project management skills
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Analytical skill.
  • Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of Safety Regulations
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as in a group setting
  • Team focused with an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer and technology literate, MS Office
  • Inventory Management
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma an advantage
