The MacBook Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on the plant floor while increasing production and revenue. The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspects of performance in the MacBook location and will ensure that objectives are attained in a cost-effective manner that’s consistent with quality requirements. He or she will also delegate authority to key operators and leads in production, involved and direct and coordinate operations for the processing of MacBooks. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities:

  • Run the production line and should partner with IT teams, to install, upgrade, and maintain equipment and the infrastructure required for them
  • Perform diagnostic tests to evaluate and isolate system problems and suggest suitable solutions.
  • Support the launch of new applications, services, and tools within their organizations
  • Develop and revise production processes, procedures, equipment, tooling, and layout.
  • Support improvement cycles
  • Apply knowledge of acquisition life-cycle processes, prepare, post, track hardware file deliveries, and associated documentation
  • Assessment and resolution of process deviations that lead to decreased quality, utilization, and throughput.
  • Development of process control strategy to ensure long-term product and process capability.
  • Development and implementation of projects ranging in scope from near-immediate needs to long-term strategic initiatives to optimize the business management system.
  • Determination and elimination of the causes of quality defects, problem-solving methodologies
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years minimum of leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing plant.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Must have experience with warehouse management or inventory systems; should have experience working in an ISO environment
  • Good computer skills, ability to use Windows driven software
  • Ability to use basic precision tools
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping and safety practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent people skills – maintain a positive attitude and ability to motivate people.
