This position requires strong organizational skills and ability to work on many tasks in parallel. The Warehouse Special Projects Manager will own the projects execution from the key accounts of the company, be responsible for the projects schedule, overall direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and have strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience working with Retail and Amazon shipping requirements and scheduling
- Follow and align to KPI and SLA requirements across different programs and their individual requirements
- Work in the warehouse daily - comfortable being in a warehouse environment with the expectation to work "on the floor" with the team
- Responsible for tracking progress and deadlines to ensure timely completion of work initiatives in order to meet business needs
- Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project specific issues
- Willing to take initiative to identify and anticipate improvement opportunities and make recommendations for implementation
- Drive projects and action owners towards on-time project completion
- Responsible for supporting Warehouse Leadership with training a team of associates to meet goals
- Define key skills, training, and development paths for the team
- Forecast work trends and the ability to optimize performance of associates
- Prepare the business case and showing the impact of a project in terms of costs, savings, revenues and benefits
- Assemble project plans giving teamwork assignments, identifying resource needs and escalating any issues appropriately
- Build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
- Ensure an excellent understanding of the project at hand and the priorities of the business units affected by any change
- Demonstrate ability to approach business problems from a disciplined, analytical perspective
- Effectively communicating with clients to gather requirements while ensuring that all their needs are understood and addressed.
- Document and present the status updates to leadership
- Special Projects as required by department management and quality requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned within your scope of responsibilities
Job Specifications
General:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Project Management experience preferred
- Must be a hands on, willing to engage directly on the production floor.
Skills & Abilities:
- Outstanding Time Management skills

- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
