What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Vice President of Business Development position at PCSI?
The Senior VP of Business Development is the strategic leader of the Business Development team and coordinates short- and long-term plans for PCSI to pursue new contracting opportunities in the federal and commercial service contracting market. This position supports and defines the work of the Business Development and Proposal teams and creates a client-centric culture aligned with PCSI's mission.
This position is hybrid from our corporate office in south Austin, TX.

What You'll Do as Senior VP of Business Development:
- Develop business partnerships for PCSI to be established as either the Prime or Sub Contractor on Ability One and Commercial Contracts.
- Develop third party contracting opportunities, for PCSI Texas and PCSI, that will utilize individuals with disabilities.
- Initiate business development strategies and coordinate actions to influence the market.
- Clarify goals and reach agreement maintaining the interests of all parties.
- Build a long- and short-term strategic business plan that provides direction for future sustainability and growth.
- Set sales targets and define strategy to achieve these targets; follow the set strategy punctually.
- Organize, compose and capture information to chart a course of action for obtaining goals.
- Facilitate meetings with potential clients to develop confidence in partnering with PCSI and PCSI Texas.
- Professionally represent the company with high-level customers to drive business goals.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Understands clients' needs.
- Devise effective implementation plans that can be executed when taking over a new contract.
- Proactively develop and improve services.
- Promote a client centric culture that fosters cooperation, trust and teamwork.
- Support management of the proposal team and preparation process of draft proposals, contracts, and other documents.
- Maintain the Business Development databases.
- Lead by example and represent PCSI’s core values of integrity, people focus, agility, compassion and empowerment.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in business development management.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive operational and managerial experience.
- Ability to write technical business proposals (Government and Commercial).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues.

Other Requirements:
- Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.
- May need to have the ability to legally drive a company vehicle.
- Primarily works indoors.
- Extensive travel may be required, up to 50%.
