Job Description
This position will be working nights, twelve hour shifts with seven days on, seven days off schedule.
Min $31.55/hr Max $38.28/hr
Bonus Target 10%
SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring nightly operations of assigned high producing oil and gas wells, including all processing equipment and verifying production facilities are adequately maintained. Respond to all alarms as directed by Night Foreman, Night Lead Pumper or Field Monitoring Specialist. Assist night contractors with operational issues and concerns as needed or requested by supervisor. Must evaluate operational issues as discovered and make any required repairs to maintain peak production with consideration for safety and environmental compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

During site visits ensure all equipment is functioning properly and make adjustments as necessary by troubleshooting site situations and communicating those changes to the day pumper;
Respond to alarms as assigned by Night Foreman, Night Lead Pumper or Field Monitoring Specialist;
Responsible and accountable for managing all fluids for assigned wells;
Accurately report any regulatory issues as they are found (ACTS Field – Observations, Flare Inspections, Dump Valve Inspections, etc.);
Report problems requiring additional help or equipment to supervisor;
Accurately record meter readings, pressures, and production volumes when required;
Performs relief duties for Field Monitoring Specialist as needed (vacations, absences, cross training, etc.);
Work professionally and respectfully with fellow employees, contractors, landowners and all others at all times while performing job duties;
Perform and assume other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of Foreman;
Must be able to move items weighing up to fifty-five (55) pounds to a height of forty (40) inches, and move items weighing up to thirty-five (35) pounds to a height of seventy-five (75) inches to service various components of equipment on well sites;
Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder and utilize stairs to work at heights to service equipment on well sites;
Must be able to traverse uneven terrain to access well sites;

Must be computer literate to include use of laptop and related technologies;
Must be a self-starter. Possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
Must possess the ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance to include, but not limited to, shovels, wrenches, rakes, etc.;
Basic math skills required to calculate production volumes, tank volumes and gas flow rates;
Shows enthusiasm for learning and represents self professionally;
Follows established policies, practices, and procedures while adhering to company safety processes;
Able to follow objectives and tasks that are set by supervisor;
Demonstrates professionalism in all circumstances;
Reports any non-routine situations to supervisor;
Shows initiative by actively seeking advanced knowledge.

Field Operations Specialist 2

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The environment in which the job is performed, especially any unique conditions outside a normal office environment.
Position is 80% outside environment. Worker is subjected to weather elements and worker must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions;
Overtime may be required as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum level of education, experience, and certifications required to perform the job.
Intermediate incumbent possessing job related experience and demonstrating expanded competencies in position specific skills;
High School diploma or GED equivalent;
Minimum two years’ experience in the oil & gas industry preferred;
Oil & gas production experience is required;
Valid driver's license with driver’s record acceptable by PDC Energy insurance carrier;
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation;
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical ability test.
