Electrical Engineer
Job Posting for Electrical Engineer at PDS Tech Commercial, Inc.
Electrical Engineering is responsible for all electrical engineering tasks related to the design, analysis, test and certification of aerospace Head-Up Displays, Helmet Mounted Displays, and Avionics Vision Systems in both commercial and military fields.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Verify digital hardware for a military application
* Review requirements for a new digital hardware design using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect
* Create a test approach, outline, and description for hardware level verification in Microsoft Word
* Perform dry-runs and run-for-score on hardware test procedures
* Support the FPGA verification team as needed
* Present hardware verification approach to the certification authority
* Oversee efforts and train less experienced designers
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
* Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum 3 years of experience
* Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with AMD (Xilinx) FPGAs and Vivado
* Experience working with C applications in Visual Studio
* Experience with image or video processing in MATLAB
Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
