Our Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) sector is actively seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Precision Engagement Systems (PES) team based in Saint Charles, MO. As part of the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization, PES is a dynamic team committed to attracting and nurturing top talent to support critical missions on Direct Attack (DA) and Cruise Missiles Systems (CMS) programs. Responsibilities:

• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.

• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrating technical parameters and ensuring compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.

• Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture, considering factors such as affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance, and other quality factors to ensure mission success.

• Develop and implement requirements management processes, tools, risk assessment, issue management, opportunity assessment, and technology readiness assessment processes.

• Resolve cross-functional technical issues, collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

• Experience in systems engineering or a related field within the aerospace or defense industry preferred.

• Proficiency in interdisciplinary collaboration and systems thinking.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $67.00 to $75.00 per hour
