Job Summary
Plant Mechanical Engineer I
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the planning, coordination and execution activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery; Assist other Engineers to coordinate requirements for new designs, surveys, and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
- Prepare bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition
- Collect equipment downtime information and share with appropriate Engineer to analyze
- Prepare preventative maintenance (PM) and calibration programs
- Project management and detailed engineering of smaller projects (? $100,000), including planning, detailed design, procurement, construction management, quality, budget and optimization
Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1-3 years industrial manufacturing experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal, collaboration, project management, and relationship building skills
- Good English language skills, written and oral
- Good Analytical and problem solving (decision making) skills
- Collaborative team player capable of working well with people across all hierarchies
- Good organizational and presentation skills
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Chemical process industry experience.
