- The McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center assembles and tests some of the most advanced Electro-Optical Infrared products in the world.
- Test technicians perform a variety of tasks to validate, troubleshoot and adjust these products to deliver the highest standard of quality equipment into the hands of the warfighter.
- Test Technicians work in a fast-paced production environment and are required to follow detailed work instructions and troubleshooting trees to address problems that arise in the test flow.
- Test technicians use a variety of high-tech test equipment.
- ****Upon technician certification, the workweek will consist of Saturday and Sunday plus 3 weekdays, to be determined by the supervisor****
- Must be able to work occasional overtime during the week or on weekends to support customer demands.
Qualifications:
- Contractor’s success be measured by the Ability to certify as a technician within 3 months (depending on test area),
- Quality metrics once certified
- Culture - Test Technicians work in a fast-paced production environment-Collaborative
- Read/understand technical instructions
- Must be able to work occasional overtime during the week or on weekends to support customer demands.
- HS Diploma, 2 year college desired
- 4 years of technician or electrical assembly.
- Military experience can serve as equivalent
