The HR Junior Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This is achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Human Resources Junior Recruiter plays a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent while assisting supervisors and employees with recruitment and classification services and issues.
The Junior Recruiter's responsibilities include posting job ads, doing initial screenings, and scheduling interviews. You’ll assist other recruiters, hiring teams, and candidates so the hiring process can run smoothly. Ultimately, you’ll help our company find and hire the most qualified people for our open roles.

Essential Duties/Requirements/Activities:
· Post job ads on professional sites, job sites, and social media.
· Participate in candidate sourcing efforts.
· Assist teams in screening resumes.
· Conduct initial phone screens.
· Schedule calls and interviews
· Manage calendars for all hiring teams and candidates.
· Communicate with candidates promptly and assist them when they come in for interviews.
· Use recruiting software to keep track of open roles.
· Send out emails (e.g., confirming receipt of applications, and rejection emails) and handle paperwork (e.g., offer letters).
· Coordinate drug tests and background checks.
· Promote positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
· Manage full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within our multiple business units.
· Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
- Coordinate and implement college and other recruiting initiatives.
- Work with hiring managers to ensure appropriate job descriptions are used to meet agency needs.
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Attend career fairs for recruiting and agency recognition.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (DATIS).
- Performs a minimum of two employment verifications and background checks for newly hired employees.
- Assist in interviewing and selecting employees onsite.
- Assist in preparing and sending offer packages.
- Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages.
- Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
- Files and maintains employment notes, documents, PCRs, Work Status Change Reports, Job Descriptions, and all Clearances.
- Review and process Internal Candidate Applications within 48 hours, per policy. Work with the Supervisor for approval and contact the Employee to inform them if approved.
- Keeper of the Government I-9 forms for Active and Inactive employees and must update as needed to remove terminated employees and add new employees, each with proper ID, as the law requires. Update with name changes and re-hires, as needed. Be knowledgeable of current laws and institute them as the law requires.
- Ensure all applicants who are offered a position with the organization meet the DCF/AHCA Level 2 Background Screening and Local Law clearance minimum requirements before they begin working with the organization.
- E Verify all new employees within 48 hours of hire date.
- Under general supervision of the HR Director, responsible for administering various employee Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) policies and performing various clerical duties to support the administration and operational functions of the organization.
- Perform other special projects as assigned.

Education:
Associate’s degree from college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of HS Diploma/GED.
Experience:
Prefer 2 or more years of experience in the HR Department and familiar with full-cycle recruiting
Training:
PRC training as required
Transportation:
Must have reliable transportation.

Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. The populations cared for will include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects. A small amount of travel may be required for meetings etc. to another PRC location.
