What You'll Do

The Dish/Linen Team Lead will be part of maintaining and increasing our reputation through the quality of your work and the finished product you produce. This position is responsible for marking dishes/linens that have returned to our warehouse and transferring them to various locations. This is a seasonal position and reports directly to the Department Manager. This position is located in Saugerties, NY.

The Day-to-Day

Organize the receiving area; make sure baskets are not blocking the walkway between departments.

Count all return bags daily

Responsible to communicate with Assistant / Supervisor about priority items for turns

Separate all TRANSFER items from original order and create the proper Z_ORDER for returns

Communicate with Supervisor for SUB RENTAL items return

Communicate / email manager (NORTH and SOUTH) in case of a missing transfer

Work together with expeditors / Supervisor to prioritize process for items needed ASAP

Keep all Missing Items information available for Missing Goods manager

Make sure to separate all items with the proper baskets

Count all Special napkins / napkin rings

Make sure all transfer bags are loaded daily for proper return

Report to Manager any big quantity missing on napkins for inventory adjustment

Show up on time and ready to work for scheduled shift(s)

Attendance of all PEAK scheduled sales & company meetings

Work at any and all areas whenever needed (This includes Chicago’s, Buck Press, Washers, Dryers, Counting Area, etc.)

Assist in any and all projects or tasks instructed by the Dish Manager or Supervisor

What We're Looking For

Must be able to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Must be able to learn the Company’s ERP system and is comfortable with using different computer software programs (Microsoft Outlook, Google Docs, Excel)

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

Must be able to multi – task

Must be able to meet deadlines

Must be attentive to details

Understand quality standards set by the Linen Processing Manager

Must have basic math skills

Must be able to stay late or report early to meet deadlines when there is high volume

Must be available to work on Saturdays or Sundays as needed

Must be able to work in team environment and be willing to follow directions of Department Manager, Supervisor and team leaders

Must be willing to perform tasks as assigned in a safe and conscientious a manner, respectful of co-workers and PEAK property

Must be comfortable working in a fast paced & constantly changing environment

Bilingual in Spanish and English would be a huge plus, but is not required
