Job Title: Senior Finance Director
Responsibilities:
- Creates monthly and quarterly reporting including variance to budget, forecast, and prior year.
- Oversees controller and accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely financial closing and reporting.
- Manage ERP through interface with vendor, design and management of updates, changes and implementation of processes.
- Responsible for balance sheet familiarity and accuracy, reconciliations and reporting results to executive leadership
- Responsible for guarding the assets of the company; inventory accuracy, return on investments
- Oversees AR manager and other revenue-chain personnel with focus on best-in-class cash management
- Develop operational standards across the business, trains and communicates with all stakeholders.
- Ensuring that the business is run in a cost effective, cash conscious manner, with an emphasis on maximizing economic and cash return on invested capital.
- Prepare and provide oversight for business unit operating budgets and profit and loss (P&L) statements.
- Partners with Directors of Operations to support their business success
- Determine best practices and high priority improvements for company financial processes.
- Participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives.
- Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA highly weighted
- 10 years in finance functions with significant time as controller and other accounting roles
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
- Proven leadership abilities in the areas of performance management, leadership influence and executive engagement.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives, including problem identification & mitigation.
- Experience in financial planning & analysis.
- Master's Degree in Finance or Accounting
