Peak Living is currently seeking a part-time Activities Coordinator to join our team! Under the direction of the Community Manager, the Activities Coordinator organizes and leads our senior activities.

Summary:
This individual has the primary professional responsibility for maintaining the programming. The Activities Program Coordinator must be creative in generating activities, events and outings for our residents.
Responsibilities

- Develops new programs and coordinate activities for senior residents.
- Creates calendars, fliers, posters, newsletters, or other materials for the purpose of announcing upcoming programs and events.
- Drive seniors to appointments, outings and shopping
- Documents resident activity and personal work activity through notes or other written documentation.
- Arranges and serves appropriate refreshments for activities.
- Monitors supplies; orders supplies as needed; stocks supplies upon receipt.
- Provides ongoing information and communications with residents in conjunction with management staff via newsletter and event calendar.
- Assists with community outreach consistent with marketing plan and leasing objectives.
- Assists with overall leasing of vacant units when needed.
- Participates in outreach marketing as necessary.
- Present a professional demeanor that communicates a philosophy of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in each resident's needs.
- Seek opportunities to collaborate with therapy programs (e.g. pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy).
- Plan, coordinate with appropriate team members, and execute events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High School or equivalent
Peak Living offers employment contingent upon a background check and drug screen.
Salary : $18 - $20
