Peak Management Company is a growing company of manufactured housing communities nationwide.
We are looking for dependable people with property maintenance and repair experience in the areas of plumbing, paint, electrical, carpentry, and appliance. HVAC certified is a plus. Maintenance Technicians with prior multi-family or manufactured housing property maintenance is a plus.
Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician position is a thorough professional who will work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The primary goal for this position is to maintain all functionality of buildings, homes, grounds, and common areas of the community in the best possible condition.
Basic Job Functions include:
Respond to maintenance service/work orders of occupied rental homes.
Provide professional customer service to residents and with vendors.
Obtain parts and inventory supplies through direct order, purchase, or request to management; maintains shop inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations.
Prepare vacant homes for occupancy involving a range of maintenance repairs, renovations, and trash out within given deadlines and quality standards.
Moves abandoned furniture, appliances, etc., to dumpster when necessary.
Walk through newly installed homes to prepare for sale and occupancy, ensuring properly connected and in new and working condition.
Perform grounds maintenance to include mowing, weed eating, trash and debris pickup, snow/ice removal; maintain best possible curb appeal.
Identifies all utility meter cut-offs, home and fixture cut-offs, sewer clean outs and indicates correctly on map; may assist manager with meter reads where applicable.
Informs manager with updates and statuses, communicates and works professionally with manager to accomplish goals, meet deadlines, and maintain community standards.
