The Team You Will Be Joining
This agency provides leadership, expertise, and resources to assist schools in meeting the educational needs and goals of all students. The Agency plays an operative role in developing Texas’ statewide curriculum and administering funding, assessment programs, and data collection systems
Major Duties
- Works with others to facilitate digitization of agency records and documents.
- Reviews, sorts, organizes, and prepares documents for imaging into an electronic format; determines the correct format and proper equipment settings to produce clear, high-quality images.
- Performs quality control of digitization by examining finished jobs to ensure adherence to standards.
- Supports the maintenance of all agency floor printers to ensure they operate efficiently, monitor leases to verify meter readings for accurate monthly billing, maintain an adequate store of consumable supplies for floor printers, and monitor and report floor printer usage to secure quotes for updating printers as needed.
- Ability to understand and follow directions for scanners and digital imaging equipment and their software, and to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to lift boxes of supplies, including full cartons of paper, and stand for long periods of time.
- Experience with Xerox and Fiery service is highly preferred, but not required.
- Rate: $27.50 per hour
- Length of Engagement: ASAP – 10/31/2024
- Days/Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
- Location: Austin, TX 78701
