Security Officer - Lehi
Job Posting for Security Officer - Lehi at PEAK SECURITY
Peak Security is looking for those ready to make a difference at a client site in Lehi! This position is full-time and pays $16.00 - $19.00 depending on experience.
Your Schedule
Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must have Private Security License in the state of Utah or willing to obtain one
- Clean background and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen
- Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team (your safety is just as important!)
- Able to stand and walk for the duration of their shift (6-12 hours)
- Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods of time
- Customer Service oriented
- Attend staff or client meetings that may be outside of normal shift hours
- May be required to work nights, holidays, and weekend
- Previous security-related work experience is a plus but not required
What You'll Do
- Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
- Provide customer service to all clientele, customers, vendors, and members of the public
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Complete incident reports and daily activity reports
- Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes)
- Follow required procedures, to respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas
- Wear Peak issued uniform
Weapons are not required for these jobs. They are Customer Service based

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
