Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- 1 years of private armed security experience
- Clean background and ability to pass a pre-hire drug screen
- Must have a cell phone to communicate with our dispatch team (your safety is just as important!)
- Able to comfortably alternate between standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs for the duration of the shift
- Customer Service oriented
- Must be able to work at least one shift a month
- May be required to work nights, holidays, and weekends according to assigned schedule
What You'll Do
- Sign up to cover open shifts as needed
- Receive training for a variety of different sites in the event of staffing issues
- Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of designated areas
- Provide customer service to all clientele as well as customers, vendors, and members of the public
- Report observations of suspicious behavior and identify safety or security risks
- Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures
- Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials to accessing buildings
- Alert appropriate personnel about issues regarding loss prevention, client concerns, or customer needs
- Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents
- Complete incident and daily activity reports
- Wear Peak issued security uniform
Weapons are not required for these jobs. They are Customer Service based.
