Job Summary

Peak Tree Works is looking to hire a Plant Health Care Technician. Your main focus will be to execute daily plant health care operations including safe and proper spray application to planned trees, shrubs and plants. Essential to this job is experience in tree and plant identification, knowledge of spray equipment, ability to work responsibly and autonomously and excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant material, identify problems, and ethically treat or prevent the many problems that trees, shrubs, and turf may face.
• Safe and proper use of spray and application equipment
• Develop and communicate daily procedures operations with your supervisor
• Communicate proactively with customers on services
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Preferred: degree in arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, plant science, plant pathology, environmental sciences, landscape management, turfgrass, or similar experience.
• At least one year of plant health care experience including tree/plant identification and spray/application equipment.
• Willingness to complete required training to obtain needed certifications & licenses.
• Desire to work outdoors.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license to reach clients in the area.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
