Position Summary:
Provides administrative and quantitative support to the Portfolio Managers and New Business Officers. Provides investment research and analytical support to Portfolio Managers as directed.
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain the confidentiality of the Bank and its customers
- Provides excellent customer service to the Wealth Management clients
- Prepares letter correspondence for the Wealth Management clients
- Answers client questions within scope of responsibility
- Coordinates and maintains client Investment Policy Synoptic detailing the client’s investment objective.
- Develops, prepares and distributes equity screens for investment idea generation.
- Conducts equity research by reviewing and analyzing company investor material and sell side research for the purposes of stock selection.
- Supports the fixed income investment process by conducting credit analysis.
- Maintains trading models on the bank’s trading platform.
- Blocks and execute trades as directed by Portfolio Managers.
- Prepares and produces client and prospect materials for meetings.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in business, finance or related field preferred
- Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with Wealth Management clients and Bank personnel from other departments either in person or over the telephone
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Ability to read, write and speak English clearly
- Knowledge of own department’s operations, policies, and procedures
- Must be an organized, independent, and detail-minded individual
Nonessential Skills and Experience:
- Attends required special events as needed as a representative of the Bank
- Special projects and other related duties as assigned
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
