The Wind Turbine Blade Technicians support site work, oversee lifting operations, perform composite inspections, and provide safety solutions with attention to detail. You'll have the opportunity to work as a team member and travel to remote locations throughout the U.S.

Starting pay is $24.00-$34.00 per hour dependent upon experience.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise field work onsite with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Oversee lifting operations following skills verification of Large Components; Create, review, correct, and amend lifting plans; Support lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’
• Operate under proper LOTO conditions and perform LOTO of equipment as an Authorized Person
• Conduct daily safety and task planning discussions, pre-task planning, JHA’s, and RA’s
• Coordinate with vendors and customers in a professional manner
• Provide feedback to Safety and Quality for business improvements
• Conduct repairs to all designated areas of Wind Turbine Blades either in the air or on the ground
• Perform internal and external composite inspections and provide accurate documentation of discrepancies
• Ability to recognize minor and major deficiencies and correct damage
• Access various elevated platforms to complete repairs
• Work with Rope Access Teams

What We Need from You:

• HS Diploma or GED required; Additional post High School education preferred; Post-secondary education a plus
• OSHA 10 recommended; Electrical or Mechanical certifications a plus
• Direct Renewable Energy work experience preferred; Indirectly related experience evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Experience working around GE blades is highly preferred
• GE LOTO Certification is preferred
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Responsible for transportation to and from work
• Willing to travel up to 100% of the time and be away from home for up to 6 weeks, work possible rotating shifts, and work in various climates
• Physically fit for climbing and lifting operations and able to stand and work in ergonomic challenging positions
• Proficient in English based upon supporting EHS requirements
• Maintain continuous coverage on the company auto insurance plan
