POSITION: OSP Construction Inspection Specialist

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual fieldwork, including excavation, boring, placement of hand holes, aerial strand and fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration of work areas per client's standards.
- Scheduling of work and inspection phases with Market Vendor contractor/s, superintendents, and agency personnel.
- Validates as-built and project closeout documentation to confirm any red-line changes that have been incorporated into the final design and that all project completion requirements are met.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in an OSP construction inspection role (preferred, not necessary - will fully train)
- Experience with digital field data collection
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills, software, and technologies
- Close attention to detail.
- Motivated to learn the telecom business
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Travel required
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work 90% of the time outdoors
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug test
