POSITION: OSP Construction Inspection Specialist

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual fieldwork, including excavation, boring, placement of hand holes, aerial strand and fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration of work areas per client's standards.
• Scheduling of work and inspection phases with Market Vendor contractor/s, superintendents, and agency personnel.
• Validates as-built and project closeout documentation to confirm any red-line changes that have been incorporated into the final design and that all project completion requirements are met.

QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in an OSP construction inspection role (preferred, not necessary - will fully train)
• Experience with digital field data collection
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills, software, and technologies
• Close attention to detail.
• Motivated to learn the telecom business
• Ability to work outdoors year-round
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Travel required
• High School Diploma
• Ability to work 90% of the time outdoors
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a drug test
