Optometric practice in Central NJ is seeking a person to join our team. Experience working as a technician in a medical office is recommended. Ability to speak a second language helpful. Competitive salary and benefits.
Candidate must be able to
- First point of contact for patients so must be professional and friendly
- Experience with answering phones and standard office equipment
- Able to schedule appointments and enter appointments into electronic patient management system
- Register patients by verifying patient's record is up-to-date and accurate
- Collect health history, Verify insurance information and complete authorizations
- Complete necessary paperwork and performing vision and diagnostic tests (AR, VF, OCT)
- Ensure high-quality patient care
