Optician

```Job Summary``` We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as providing exceptional customer service. Your knowledge of ophthalmic products and your ability to interpret prescriptions will be crucial in helping our customers achieve optimal vision correction. ```Duties``` - Assist customers in selecting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription, lifestyle, and budget - Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit of eyewear - Adjust frames and lenses to ensure comfort and proper alignment - Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and other enhancements - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses, including verifying prescription accuracy - Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns ```Requirements``` - Previous experience as an Optician or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of ophthalmic products, lens options, and frame styles - Familiarity with retail math and basic understanding of physiology - Proficient in medical terminology related to ophthalmology - Experience with electronic medical records systems (e.g., Epic) is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations If you are passionate about providing exceptional vision care and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we invite you to apply for the position of Optician. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
