What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Committee Recruiter position at Pearson?
Working under the direction of the Committee Recruitment Group (CRG) Manager, the Associate Committee Recruiter coordinates and implements test development activities related to committee review conferences for teacher licensure programs. This role conducts outreach activities including the identification and recruitment of potential committee members to participate in test development conferences. Other responsibilities include building online invitation materials using Cvent event management software as well as coordinating with vendors to secure hotel accommodations for meetings conducted throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
- Performs recruitment activities assigned by CRG manager.
- Communicates directly with K-12 educators and administrators as well as deans/faculty at educator preparation programs.
- Conducts outreach to educators via e-mail and phone.
- Composes and sends e-mail responses.
- Maintains data tracking and documentation of recruitment activities.
- Independently conducts online searches in support of recruitment.
- Communicates with internal and external educational partners verbally and in writing.
- Builds and conducts internal testing of invitations (using Cvent event management software).
- Monitors program mailbox for incoming emails; research and respond to inquiries.
- Coordinates with vendors to secure accommodations for conferences.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Preferably with previous work experience in general recruitment, customer service and/or the educational field.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Needed:
- Strong oral communication skills including a professional phone manner.
- Strong writing skills including effective email communication.
- Detail-oriented, strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet concurrent deadlines.
- Experience with call tracking and/or event management software is desirable.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior professional experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with Cvent event management software a plus, but not required.
Schedule and Work Setup:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm ET
- Work from home with Pearson supplied hardware and support. (Employees are responsible for securing reliable internet.)
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
The minimum full-time salary range starts at $55,000.
