About the Pearson Virtual Schools
Pearson Virtual Schools (PVS) is focused on providing a flexible work environment to its employees, including the ability to work from home on a regular basis in most positions. We believe that flexibility in work/life balance is a critical part of our culture and employee satisfaction, and we are proud to provide our employees with the ability to work from anywhere, anytime. In exchange, we require that employees have the appropriate means to work remotely, including adherence to our work at home policies regarding home office setup, including but not limited to the privacy of records, technology standards, equipment standards and expectations.
The newly created PVS Curriculum Small Wins team, through teacher- and student-focused design thinking sessions, will focus on enhancements to our curriculum. The intent of the Small Wins team is twofold: first for our customers to participate in our development cycle and get immediate value from enhancements that will save them time better spent on building relationships with students and differentiating instruction; and second for our PVS teams to build relationships with our schools, understand their problems and opportunities, and appreciate how they are using our curriculum to better inform the broader Product and Technology roadmap. In addition to the content architecture and integration analyst, the PVS Small Wins team is comprised of a product manager, a solutions manager, content developers, an assurance analyst, and an instructional designer.
Role Description
Working from home or from one of Pearson’s US-based offices, the content architecture and integration analyst is the Small Wins subject matter expert for the Pearson Authoring and Content Ecosystem (PACE) tools. The analyst ensures consistent and effective use of PACE tools for the development and integration of content assets, and the assembly, production, and maintenance of courses. As a member of the Small Wins team, the content architecture and integration analyst will participate in design-thinking sprints to identify and prioritize “small win” work, to develop the “small wins,” and to test, validate, and deliver the “small wins” to our school customers.
