We seek an Content Development Administrator, Mathematics to join a highly collaborative and fast-moving Content Strategy team closely aligned with Product Management, while being a key face of Pearson in our mathematics academic communities. You will be part of a team that partners with Product Managers, Centers of Expertise, Authors, and Content Developers to deliver the highest quality content solutions for products that drive Pearson’s license to win in the market.
The Content Development Administrator, Mathematics is responsible for supporting content strategy research, product development, market testing and validation and helping guide authors to bring leading edge content and teaching models to Pearson, for informing products that drive better learning experiences and outcomes and delight customers. Content Strategy is responsible for developing the ideas of thought leaders and market shapers into the content that fuels our products. The goal is to deliver a product portfolio that meets market expectations for mathematics and drives revenue for Pearson. The role reports to the Manager, HE Global Content Strategy, Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of the mathematics content strategy (digital first) and content development and validation, as well as the delivery of value propositions that capitalize on market and customer opportunities and meet learner needs and outcomes
- Perform administrative tasks that support the Collegiate Mathematics product line, including invoice payment and tracking, product information maintenance, and author support
- Help to ensure that our course content is best-of-class in scholarship, pedagogy, curriculum and course alignment, level by collecting and organizing customer feedback, conducting focus groups, etc.
- Support the development and management of relationships with leading edge/critical content providers and other partners.
- Collaborate with Product Management colleagues in Higher Ed to help on product release cycles.
- Keep up with competitive trends in content through market and content review analyses and interpretation to guide authorship that aligns with market opportunities and trends.
- Help ensure compliance and vigilance with ADA, DEI, and other Editorial Policies.
- Act as an ambassador for Pearson products, generating excitement and enthusiasm internally and externally.

Qualifications
Key Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent preferred)
- Good understanding of education and learning from a consumer viewpoint
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Able to maintain a prioritization to help deliver product content, aid in ensuring that the product content stays on track to achieve its strategic objectives
- Facility with mathematics preferred
- Desire to built a career in publishing
- Facility with word processing and spreadsheet applications

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $21.53-$28.75 .
