Responsibilities :
Employee Training - Designing, delivering, and coordinating new-hire onboarding, ongoing product training, and upskilling or cross-training all employees, as well as developing and delivering leadership training for several sales functions, including Sales Representatives, Sales Specialists, Operations Specialists, Operations Managers, etc.
Content Creation - Building and either delivering or facilitating training content sessions intended for internal sales audiences. Topics would include a wide range of subjects including products, internal processes/resources, customer personas, sales skills, etc. Supporting our teams, most notably our Customer Experience and Assessment and Qualifications teams, with the development of on-demand training content utilizing the latest eLearning content creation processes and tools.
Coaching & Feedback Delivery - Develop personalized action plans reinforcing relevant skills, tactics, and techniques while identifying strengths and weaknesses within the organization. Monitoring and enhancing performance as well as measuring or creating content that supports any immediate business needs via a gap analysis. Document and provide encouragement, and timely and constructive feedback to all employees and to their leadership.
More specifically, the role will require the following :
Maintain and build content for an internal e-learning training site (Managed through SharePoint and Microsoft Stream)
Serve as a primary contributor and provide shared oversight of a centralized knowledge repository (managed through SharePoint)
Work closely with leadership and Sales Operations to understand the Clinical Sales business processes, and then translate that understanding into training courses that clearly communicate those processes to the larger Clinical business
Develop a firm grasp of the strategic goals for the Sales group, and be able to prioritize the workload based on those goals-as well as communicate those priorities to leadership.
Apply a high degree of creativity and visual design thinking to print and digital content that will be used internally as supplemental job aides, collateral, e-learning courses, etc.
Work closely with leadership to plan and produce training events, which may include virtual or in-person sales conferences.
Demonstrate an exceptional ability to deliver candid and constructive feedback to others as part of their coaching and development
Maintain strong ties to HR and Pearson globally to pass along opportunities that support employee career development
Direct and evaluate a new-hire onboarding program that blends on-the-job training with direct teaching/coaching from the Lead T&D Specialist, leadership, Product Specialists, colleagues, etc.
Support the Sales Training Director in maintaining strong relationships outside of the Sales group, and encouraging collaboration between teams
Qualifications :
Pearson Clinical is seeking individuals who have the following skills:
Bachelor's degree (communication, education, or business major preferred) or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge of Clinical Assessments products and/or industry preferred
Excellent Written communication skills
Exceptional skill using the Microsoft suite, most importantly PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel
Experience with design and video editing software, such as Adobe Premier or Brainshark
Strong listening skills
Ability to identify and prioritize the tasks required to complete a particular project
Firm grasp of company processes and expectations
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to quickly learn and leverage new technology/systems
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $52,000 - $60,000.
