Position Summary
The Creative Project Manager is an intermediate level role within the Brand Creative Services Team and will be responsible for maintaining the creative project workflow. This person will be accountable for processing projects, reviewing creative materials for accuracy and brand style, communicating with key stakeholders, and managing the progress of the creative team against deadlines and project assignments. The ideal candidate will have an interest in marketing creative, content, and project management, including a dedication to content quality and adhering to brand standards.
The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, some copy-editing experience, and familiarity with content development. The Creative Project Manager will also be expected to contribute ideas to the overall content strategy and facilitate team engagement. This person will play a key role in our efforts to educate and engage prospective Connections Academy families.
Primary Responsibilities
Day-to-day coordination of creative projects within our project management software—from intake to completion—as well as liaising between our internal creative team and various departments and stakeholders throughout the company as it relates to project brief questions, timelines, reviews and approvals
Secondary support for Connections Academy Resource Hub strategy through coordination of copy development, image selection and resizing, ideating topics, and sourcing foundational and supporting content and brand-safe links as-needed
Contribute to the creative review process of copy and design to ensure global brand measures are met and content is engaging, accurate, and in line with requests
Lead creative brief kickoff meetings and check-ins as necessary with project stakeholders and creative team to ensure alignment on creative needs
Organize and maintain asset libraries as outlined by the Creative Services Manager
Support budget management as needed
Light copywriting, copyediting and proofreading of creative materials and content for Resource Hub stories, infographics, videos, website profiles, and more
Requirements
3-5 years’ experience in creative project management or coordination
Degree in marketing, communications, business, English or related field
Deep interest in content marketing, advertising, creative marketing
Incredibly organized with a natural drive to follow every project, big or small, to completion
Knowledge of project management best practices, project management platforms, waterfall and some Agile principles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter and is detail-oriented in execution of daily tasks
Understanding of/interest in current and future digital trends across platforms
Understands brand, tone, and audience of the company
Agency experience a plus!
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $65,000-$75,000.
