What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Administrator position at Pearson?
Performs consulting services for client organizations in need of assessment/testing or curriculum/alignment services. Meets with client to gather requirements and determines project scope. Presents to client management cost effective solutions tailored to clients business needs. Communicates with clients to assess satisfaction level. Level of responsibility and complexity of duties varies with experience.
Candidate will conduct and document initial scoping of a project with the Director of Product Development (DPD) to build a series of CompTIA certification courses. The project scope will be used to develop a business case by the DPD. Upon finance approval of the business case, the Consultant will work with the course development team to build 3 college level courses targeted at the CompTIA CORE certifications. This will be a part time position, anywhere from 5-25 hours a week. The first phase of scoping will be 10-15 hours in total for 2 weeks. Once they are in the development phase, hours may go up to about 25 per week. The manager will work with schedules if candidates have another adjunct faculty job, for example, a teacher, it consultant.
Candidate should be prepared to upload unofficial college transcripts proving minimum education requirements when submitting application.
Minimum Required Skills:
Teaching online college level courses
One or more CompTIA CORE certifications
Online college level course development experience
Project scoping/estimating
Education Requirement:
One or more CompTIA CORE certifications (A , Newtork Security ).
Masters degree or 18 graduate credits in IT related field
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $28 to $38 . This position is not bonus eligible, and information on benefits offered is here.
