REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be a certified Speech Therapist
· One year of pediatric experience
· Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of professionals in mental health setting.
· Independent clinical judgement required with good interpersonal communication skills to allow for collaboration with other clinicians and health care professionals
· CPR Certification required upon hire
Responsibilities:
¨ Provides pediatric speech therapy treatment to the patients in an accurate and timely manner.
¨ Treat infants/children 0-5 years of age
¨ Provides on-going therapy on an outpatient basis in their natural environment.
¨ Provide direct therapeutic interventions to children to support receptive language, expressive language, speech/articulation, voice/resonance, fluency, social communication, play, feeding/swallowing, executive functioning development, reading/literacy skills, and emotional- regulation skills
¨ Documents daily/weekly therapy for each client in the “Daily Notes”
¨ Responsible for maintaining good working relationships with coworkers and facilitating teamwork wherever services are being provided.
¨ Evaluating and treating children with disabilities
¨ Instruct children in activities of daily living
¨ Collaborate with interdisciplinary team, patient and family to create an effective plan of care
¨ Plan therapeutic programs and activities for childcare center
¨ Write progress reports and attend IEP meetings
¨ Help them access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
