Pediatric Heart Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the growing practice and be an integral part of the clinic.

Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Patients for Visit and Procedures
  • Checking In / Out Patients
  • Collect payments
  • Make appointment calls
  • Answering Phone Lines
  • Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
  • Insurance Verification
  • Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered Into System
  • Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records
  • Other clinical tasks assigned by manager
  • Patient vitals
    • Once a week coverage to Baytown clinic. Remaining days in Beaumont Clinic.

Requirements
  • Be able to travel independently for Baytown outreach clinics.
  • Once a week coverage to Baytown clinic. Remaining days in Beaumont Clinic.
  • MUST HAVE experience of working at a medical office in the past 1 year.
  • Spanish speaking is a PLUS but not mandatory.
  • At least 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital.
  • Strong Customer Service and Computer Skills.
  • Ability to Multi-Task.
  • Medical Terminology Knowledge.
  • Medical Assistant Certification a Plus.
