Pediatrics on Park and Dentistry on Park are looking to provide multiple positions for our brand new modern office. Our office is a combination of pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, as well as adult dentistry with Dentistry on Park. The office is more then up to date with digital X-rays, TV's on ceilings, Alexa, Dentrix, comfortable spacing, and most importantly friendly staff. We are 3 doctors, with the adult dentistry running for more then 30yrs. We are looking for candidates who are team players and compasionate. Initially the position will start from part-time to full-time once the candidate is evaluated. Full-time employees will receive paid vacation, 401K, and sick days. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist and General Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern dental office equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Utilize medical coding for accurate billing and documentation
- Utilize Dentrix software for patient records management
- 3D printer for dental needs
- Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with OSHA guidelines
- Interpret medical imaging such as X-rays and CT scans for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Monitor vital signs of patients during dental procedures
- Document patient assessment findings, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in dental procedures and techniques
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
- Familiarity with medical coding for accurate billing and reimbursement
- Experience using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner
