SHARE! the Self-Help And Recovery Exchange, www.shareselfhelp.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading the word about self-help support groups, seeks a full-time Operations Manager to oversee all non-program functions in its organization.
This includes: human resources, information technology, bookkeeping, office services, facilities, and purchasing. This position is also part of the Management Team of the organization, which develops and implements policies and programs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years previous experience as Operations Manager,
- 2 years experience supervising employees,
- Demonstrated project management experience,
· Minimum one year personal experience attending 12-Step or other self-help support groups.
Minimum one year of sobriety and/or abstinence, if applicable.
- Strong organization and time management skills and able to prioritize duties,
- Demonstrated experience writing and/or developing standard operating procedures,
- Self-starter who can accomplish projects on a timely basis,
- Strong communication skills,
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Quickbooks Online a plus,
- Accounting experience a plus,
- HR experience a plus,
- Experience with non-profit management and government contracts a plus,
- Bachelor’s Degree or above.
Responsibilities:
· Management of all vendors (including contract management),
· Ensuring all SHARE! locations are operationally sound on a daily basis (IT, Health & Safety, contractor visits), manage site emergencies as they occur,
· Manage all IT systems and databases, alongside SHARE!’s IT contractor,
· Project Manage ad-hoc projects as required by business needs,
· Oversee payroll for accuracy and timeliness,
· Oversee accounting, insurance, benefits, HR, hiring and admin,
· Ensure compliance with local, state and federal requirements,
· Ensure policies and procedures are kept up to date and followed across the organization.
