Conducts work to assist and support the design engineers in the procurement, design, development and testing of products in engineering while supporting overall company goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Associate’s degree or high school degree.
Experience:
One to five years of manufacturing experience.
Skills/Abilities:
Effective communicative and writing skills
Able to follow direction and drive projects with minimal supervision
Strong Technical aptitude
PC computer operational skills
Some CAD software experience (Solidworks preferred)
Some heavy lifting (up to 30lb)
ESSENTIAL RESULTS:
Demonstrate excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to lead projects of limited scope and impact or portions of a major project.
Will be able to read and interpret drawings, BOM’s and instructions to coordinate with engineering and manufacturing in the development of prototypes.
Assist design engineers with all aspects of prototyping and testing.
Uses good judgment in the planning, scheduling and coordinating of all project phases.
Demonstrates knowledge and adheres to ISO 9001 standards for audio/visual products.
Ability to perform multiple tests on products such as load or tip testing as required and complete testing result reports.
Complete assembly, testing and packaging requirements based on products designed
Assist the design engineers in developing drawings in Solidworks when required.
