Job Posting for Production at Peerless Products, Inc.
Work Days: Monday-Thursday* *Overtime as needed Shift Hours: 6:00a.m.-4:30p.m. 2nd shift: 7:30p.m. - 6:00a.m.
Basic Job Function: Saw, fabricate, build, prepare, assemble, test, clean, & wrap all window/door components to form a complete, ready-to-ship unit. Job must be performed on-site at Peerless Products Facilities. Must always wear personal safety equipment.
Primary essential duties/responsibilities: Team orientated (must work well with others). Good communication. Have an excellent knowledge of all quality checks for each operation. Must wear all personal safety protective equipment & follow all federal, state, local, & company safety regulations. Must know & understand all operations in assembly (from material preparation to wrapping).
Other duties/responsibilities: Help in different positions on the line when instructed. Excellent attendance. Maintain a clean & safe work area/environment. Basic math. Operate pneumatic tools, hand tools, box knife, & sealant guns.
Physical demands: Lift 50. Stand, stretch arms above head, stoop, & bend on concrete floors. Work at a fast pace. Working conditions/environment: Non-climate controlled work environment (hot in summer, cold in winter). Concrete floors. Some dirt & metal chips. Some fumes from cleaning chemicals, welding processes, & paint. Noise. With/around sharp objects & glass.
