What are the responsibilities and job description for the CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE position at Pegasus Logistics Group?
Dynamic, collaborative, creative, motivated - not the typical words you think of when describing a Freight Forwarder, but then again, our award-winning culture and team are far from commonplace in this industry Major Duties and Responsibilities: Will work directly with clients for quotes on shipments. Quoting based on customer needs. Handling calls in a timely, professional, courteous manner. Handle reporting for specific metrics of assigned accounts. Ability to resolve service issues in a timely, independent manner. Ability to multi-task (data entry, telephone calls) Expected to handle order entry/data entry of all shipment specifics with 100% accuracy. Responsible for overseeing movement of shipments from the time of pickup to delivery (dispatch, routing, tracking, costing, rating, confirm delivery, and invoice) Participate in cross training and continuous skill development. Must participate in after hours on-call rotation Must be able to occasionally work weekends and after hours during peak times Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years freight forwarding experience Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be confident, team-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment Intermediate to Advanced level of experience with Excel Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Self-managed and highly motivated Displays integrity, reliability, empathy, and a strong work ethic Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Results-oriented; Display sense of urgency Hours: Saturday - Sunday 8am to 5pm Monday - Wednesday 12pm to 9pm Pegasus Logistics Group is breaking the mold and we want employees as passionate and diverse as we are.
