Dynamic, collaborative, creative, motivated - not the typical words you think of when describing a Freight Forwarder, but then again, our award-winning culture and team are far from commonplace in this industry Major Duties and Responsibilities: Cold calling on the phone, emailing, and messaging through LinkedIn. Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold/warm calls and emails. Make 600 – 700 phone calls a month to meet a monthly metric for confirmed appointments. Understand prospect needs with regards to Pegasus capabilities. Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further business development and capture. Prospect new business and schedule appointments. Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Associates/bachelor’s degree or 1 years of related industry experience or 1 years experience in a sales-related role w/ cold-calling experience Strong verbal skills/phone presence and experience dialing to prospects who are NOT familiar with or expecting your phone call. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organization skills including calendar and task management. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Understand Pegasus core capabilities and company messaging. LinkedIn proficiency. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Self-driven. 2 years industry-related experience. CRM experience (ie.
