Job Summary
Responsible for assembling electrical components into a complete electro-mechanical device. The Technician performs a wide variety of electrical/mechanical product assembly operations on components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. The successful candidate will read and interpret instructions, test finished units, assembles parts and sub-assemblies, and fit electronic components together.
Requirements
· Capable of reading and understanding wiring diagrams, electronic relay logic wiring, schematics and dimensional specifications.
· Populates PCB's from work instructions and assembly drawings / Bills of Material
· Proven ability to assembles parts and components to finished goods including through hole and surface mount soldering, mechanical assembly and electrical wiring.
· Tests/Calibrate electronic assemblies and mechanisms utilizing standard equipment such as voltage meters and signal generators.
· Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards
· Maintain logs and paperwork and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices
Desired Abilities
· Strong Computer Proficiency Including: Word, Excel, operating systems
· Knowledge of Machine Coding
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work with small components
· Ability to perform component soldering and modifications
· Knowledge and understanding of machine code
Primary responsibilities
· Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, sub-assemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering and other assembly methods.
· Inspect and test components, assemblies, and circuits using electronic test equipment such as multi-meters, signal generators and high potential test units.
· Identify and correct defects.
· Test product to ensure conformance to specifications and functional performance.
· Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment.
· Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
· Utilize product assembly, inspection and quality documentation. Suggest edits to Engineering as needed.
Education/Experience
· Associate Degree (or similar Military Credentials) in Manufacturing, Electronics, Equipment Testing or similar field.
· 4 years assembling, testing, troubleshooting, repairing electrical equipment, particularly electro-mechanical devices, motors and motor controllers, HVAC equipment.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We require all visitors to wear face masks and have social distancing rules for in house work locations. The common surfaces are sprayed with disinfectant twice daily. We have supplied thermometers to workers and encourage testing daily.
