Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is key to the successful execution of winery events and is responsible for overseeing the movement of equipment, set-up and breakdown, checking in/out equipment, overseeing and maintaining inventory, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. This is a supervisory position that interacts directly with Peju Experience staff, facilities crew, outside event vendors and temporary wait staff to oversee both small- and large-scale daily events hosted at any of our winery properties. These tasks include event set-up and dismantling, parking, janitorial, guest service and crowd control duties. This position requires heavy labor (lifting, carrying, moving heavy equipment, etc.)

Reports to: Director of Operations & IT
Essential Duties:
Winery Experiences/Events:
- Responsible for receiving and responding to daily Maintenance Connection requests and the physical setup of event spaces in a timely manner.
- Transport, setup and dismantle various types of equipment including tables, chairs, umbrellas, linens, florals, lighting, kitchen equipment, fans, heaters, barricades, and moderate audio/video
- Oversees proper storage and maintenance of inventory to ensure equipment is clean and in working order at all times.
- Responsible for onsite troubleshooting of portable restrooms, portable generators and other power related issues (audio/video, tripped circuit breakers, electrical timers, etc.)
Maintenance and Property Care:
- Assists in property maintenance and beautification through a variety of activities, including but not limited to debris removal, leaf blowing, pressure washing, touch up painting, weeding, plumbing, carpentry and minor mechanical.
Janitorial Duties:
- Maintains portable restrooms & facilities before, during and after events. Performs tasks which include trash removal, toilet/sink cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and replenishing supplies/product.
Security:
- Checks for and manages unauthorized use of facilities or other unusual and improper conditions
