Job Summary
Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Roto 3rd Shift Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and finishing a range of plastic containers and other items.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble containers according to prints and specifications using fixtures and hardware.
- Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations.
- Inspect finished containers for quality and accuracy.
- Notify supervisor of inspection failures or out-of-tolerance situations.
- Perform limited pressure leak testing and record results.
- Repair and retest containers as needed.
Requirements
- Must have the ability to follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Must have the ability to use basic hand tools.
- Must have the ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
Working Conditions
This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities and the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
