Under the general supervision of the Chief Operations Officer and the direct supervision of the Site Manager, performs clerical record keeping work of average difficulty involving input, posting, verifying, and compilation of medical accounts receivable records. Collect and account for revenues and monies; responds to telephone and personal inquiries; and performs related work as assigned, verifies patient information and logs in patient appointments. Interviews patients to obtain accurate demographic, financial and medical information; works up patient payment schedules. Responsible for reading and comprehending memos, newsletters, notices and applying initiative and judgement.
This position has Ryan White Title I related duties and responsibilities relative to the provision of care to persons living with HIV/AIDS. Adheres to HIPAA compliance and guidelines regarding patient confidentiality.
